The Chemical Daily, or Kagaku Kogyo Nippo in Japanese, is the leading newspaper comprehensively covering Japan’s industrial backbone, its chemical industry. Published since 1936  in Japanese language by The Chemical Daily Co., Ltd., it boasts a circulation of about 130,000 copies every day.

The Chemical Daily is a highly reputable source of news and information and provides the chemical community with all that is necessary to push ahead with business growth.

The print edition usually contains 12 pages, covering topics renging from general chemicals and energy, market and product information, over fine and specialty chemicals, life sciences and electronics, to trading and distribution, machinery, engineering, and the environment.

The company employes around 180 people. It is headquartered in Tokyo and has branch offices in Osaka, Nagoya, Shanghai, Singapore, and Thailand.

Besides the daily newspaper, The Chemical Daily Co., Ltd. also publishes the Chemical Products Handbook (Kagaku Shohin), and the monthly magazine Chemical Business Journal (Kagaku to Keizai). The company is also involved in organizing seminars and trade shows.
